Norway’s IT event of the year

Atea Community – or Ementor Community, as it was called for the four previous years – has become established as the event of the year for Norway’s information technology sector. Some 2 200 people took part in 2008, and for good reason.

Theme of the year
This year’s theme is CUT COSTS, with the focus on using IT to achieve a cost benefit.

Programme
Atea offers a programme of educational lecture sessions, in-depth coverage of technical and technological issues, networking and not least an exhibition. The last offers the opportunity to meet a selection of leading technology providers.

Attendance
The target audience for Atea Community is IT managers and personnel, company chief executives, finance managers, technicians and special users/resources.
It will also attract people interested in finding many good ideas for working more intelligently and cutting costs.
The programme concludes with dinner and entertainment.

Exclusive keynote speakers
This year’s keynote speakers are Peter Sund from Pirate Bay and Martin Törnkvist, founder of The Swedish Model and record company Songs I Wish I Had Written.
The pair will focus on the issue of file-sharing networks, a highly topical subject which is sure to remain challenging in the future.
